Annual Meeting Minutes…

The Annual Meeting of the HOA was held on Thursday, October 20th from 7:30-9:00 PM at the Zions View Park Building. It was great to see and meet so many of our neighbors during our very informative and productive meeting. The following items were discussed:

HOA Board Member Positions… There are 3 board members positions that will be up for re-election on January 1st 2017. Please complete the included nomination form and return to the Hunter Creek HOA mailbox located at the front of the community near the Susquehanna Trail (5 Hunter Creek Drive, York PA 17406) by November 20th 2016.

NOTE: You must be an owner, have no outstanding rules violations, and all your dues and fees must be paid in full in order to nominate, run for office, and/or vote.

Architectural Changes…

We’d like to remind folks that if you are simply ‘fixing’ something around the exterior of your home and not necessarily changing something, it is helpful to inform the HOA. By doing so, we do not have to inquire or follow-up with homeowners if there are work vehicles/equipment present around the home. Simply email us at huntercreekhoayork@gmail.com.

Speeding Traffic…

For concerns of traffic violations, please contact the Township at 717-266-2122 or call the Police at 911 and ask for the local dispatcher. Unfortunately, our HOA cannot enforce traffic laws, change speed limits, or add additional stop signs. The township may take action if they receive consistent and repeated complaints.

Snow Plows…

Though it can be very frustrating to have your driveway plowed in more than once, please DO NOT interfere with snowplow operations. It is recommended that you pile snow in your front-yard, not in the street. Additionally, please do your best to shovel walkways/paths for children to walk when returning home from school. For complaints or issues, please contact the Conewago Township Authority directly at 717-266-2122.

Quiet Hours…

The Conewago Township Nuisance Ordinance states that quiet hours are between 10:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m. the following day. During this time, NO powered lawn mowers, tractors, power tools, chain saws, or similar devices in a residential shall be used. This rule also applies to loud pets, barking, music, and parties.

Street Lights…

Our HOA pays for and maintains the streetlights throughout our community. This past year, we replaced the bulb components in two lights. We are now working to fix the light at 1065 Stone Gate Drive. Since these lights were all installed at roughly the same time, we expect to replace the remaining bulbs in the near future.
